The halal ritual
Dhabiha is the method of ritual slaughter of animals prescribed by Islamic law.
« No beast walking on earth, no bird flying from its wings, who is not like you in communities. »
(No beast walking on earth, no bird flying from its wings, who is not like you in communities.)
This means that animal species enjoy creature status, as do human beings. Animals intended for human consumption must therefore be bred in accordance with nature, according to the precepts of organic farming. Neither stress nor containment, with open spaces throughout the day and healthy food. Slaughter must be done in a way that respects animals and avoids suffering.
